This is a blend of herbs used in combination with a holistic management approach to reduce a parasite load in livestock. These herbs are also used frequently with pets and people.
Black Walnut naturally contains large amounts of tannins which are a vermifuge.
Wormwood is another plant used traditionally as a dewormer. In combination with Black Walnut they are excellent broad spectrum dewormer.
They are also antibacterial, antiviral and anitmicrobial.
Marshmallow Root is a cooling and soothing herb which will create a mucus like protective coating in the stomach to help repair damage done previously by parasites.
The tonic can be extracted using Grain Alcohol which will preserve the blend for a number of years. Grain alcohol extractions are ideal to use when the plant material is fresh and when the extract will be used for an adult.
When the remedy is to be used with animals a Glycerite is the preferred method of extraction, due to it's increased palatability. Glycerites have a shelf life of about one year.
Pregnant and debilitated individuals should seek the advice of a healthcare practitioner prior to using this remedy.
Dosage of tho product is 35 drops or one dropperful.
Dose is for a 150 pound individual and should be adjusted accordingly.
